Senseless

Senseless

There is just a void,
Where your presence were once there,
Empty without you,
And nobody seems to care.

Silent as the lamb,
It has all gone quiet here,
No sound worthy now,
In the absence of your cheer.

Darkness all around,
Nothing worthy of the light,
Everything pales to your glow,
After losing your good fight.

Nothing smells the same,
With your fragrance not around,
Another sense disabled,
Now useless along with sound.

And now let's talk touch,
Now nothing quite feels the same,
Missing you in all these ways,
But that's just the grieving game.
