So Lonely

So Lonely

Here I am alone,
Just one in a million.
Single grain of sand,
Like a pebble on a beach,
Lonely and lost in a crowd.

Where do I belong?
Feeling lost among the stars.
A spark in the sun,
Merely a word in a book,
And a note within a song.

Drop in the ocean,
A blade on a grassy hill.
Lonesome as can be,
Like a star in the nights sky,
Just one leaf upon a tree.
